Sci-Fi Spectacular at WSO

Sep 27 to 28 | Centennial Concert Hall, Winnipeg Travel to the edge of the universe with music from the biggest and best science fiction TV shows and movies at the Sci-Fi Spectacular at the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra! Guest conductor Jack Everly is a wealth of Sci-Fi knowledge, as well as being one of the most engaging pops conductors on our planet. Special guest George Takei (Star Trek’s Sulu) provides dramatic narration.

Migration Festival

Sep 28 to 29Oak Hammock Marsh Wave a fond farewell to our feathered friends for the season at the Migration Festival in Oak Hammock Marsh! Right now is the best time of year to see the spectacular fall migration. This year’s activities include songbird banding, live birds of prey, horse-drawn wagon rides and a rooftop fly-in.

All-you-can-eat Lobster Feast

Sep 28 | RBC Convention Centre This year's Lobster Feast includes salads, dinner rolls, all-you-can-eat lobster, tea, coffee and a decadent dessert. Fall suppers

It’s suppertime in Manitoba. From now through mid-November, dozens of traditional community-based “fall suppers” – buffet feasts of down-home cooking, locally grown ingredients, and family recipes – are being served throughout the province. This weekend's suppers are in Komarno, Meleb, Poplarfield, Sundown, Cowan, Dominion City, Friedensfeld, Otterburne, Pilot Mound, St. Leon,Starbuck, Ste. Genevieve.
