Fall exhibitions

Sep 26 to Nov 16, 2013 Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba, Brandon AGSM's fall exhibitions include works by two artists. In Decapitation and Other Conditions, Amy Buehler addresses limitation and constraint. Challenging both external and internal questions of power and powerlessness, her work evokes the processes of pattern-making. In Thoughts and Non-Thoughts, Derek Dunlop deals with the materiality of painting, creating oscillation and blurring between subject and object. It responds to traditions of abstraction, while subtly subverting them to ask complex questions about spirituality, utopia, and difference.  AGSM exhibits
