Manitoba Stampede

Jul 18 to 21Morris Ride out to Morris for a weekend of bronco-busting fun at the Manitoba Stampede! This pro-rodeo event on the Canadian Tour circuit stars some of the top names in bull riding, bronco-busting, tie-down roping, bareback riding, steer wrestling circles and team roping.

Fringe Festival

Jul 17 to 28The Exchange District, Winnipeg Catch original, accessible and cheeky performances at North America’s second-largest Fringe Theatre Festival! This year, more than 160 companies from around the world will present comedy, drama, dance, improv, musicals and more while Old Market Square will come alive with non-stop entertainment on the outdoor stage.

Learn more about these fascinating creatures at the Dragonfly Festival! Join a Dragonfly Safari where you can catch and identify many different species of dragonflies and damselflies.

Paddle to the Park

Jul 21 | Manitoba Paddling Association, Winnipeg To honour the memory of Don Starkell and share in his adventurous spirit, you are invited to Paddle in the Park! Don was one of Winnipeg’s greatest adventurers and storytellers, who documented two epic journeys in the books Paddle to the Amazon and Paddle to the Arctic. Bring your own canoe or kayak for a paddling adventure on the Red River, and picnic at the Manitoba Paddling Association. Starts at 9:00 a.m.
