Aug 2 to 4 | Dauphin Head out for a weekend of song, dance, costumes and cuisine at Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival! From cultural displays and entertainment to learning the art of pysanky (Ukrainian Easter egg decorating) and designing your own very special souvenir, to enjoying fresh bread from wood-fired ovens, Dauphin becomes a focal point for all things Ukrainian.

Icelandic Festival of Manitoba

Aug 2 to 5Gimli  By Thor’s Hammer it’s time to celebrate family, friends and Icelandic heritage and culture at the 124th annual Icelandic Festival of Manitoba! (Or as the locals call it,Islendingadagurinn.) Enjoy the excitement of the midway and viking reenactments, shop a wide assortment of crafts, watch the parade and fireworks, or just relax on the beach with friends and take in the sun and sandcastle competition.

Pioneer Days

This four-day event is packed with fun-filled pioneer demonstrations that weave the story of Mennonite culture through the centuries.
