She worked in the hospitality industry for over twenty five years, starting off as a food and beverage server at Boston Pizza and then worked her way up to Director of Sales and Marketing for a national hotel management company. Along the way, she has seen the impact that excellent customer service, both internal and external, can have on a business. Today, Laurie offers professional training and coaching as the Chief Engagement Specialist at Servicedge Training & Consulting.

Laurie’s mission is to provide companies the training and resources they need be customer service leaders. She is a firm believer that by far the majority of people want to be great at what they do, but they’re just not sure how to do that.
