Accommodations summit starts a new conversation: All overnight visitors to Manitoba have something in common – they need somewhere to stay overnight. Travel Manitoba hosted its first Accommodations Summit on April 5, bringing large hotel chains, small hoteliers and bed and breakfast operators together for the first time. Read more

Fish and hunt operators get social media savvy: Social media can seem daunting to small business owners, but eleven fish and hunt operators got the chance to learn about social media strategy, including how to effectively use Facebook and Twitter, and how to monitor, crowdsource and manage their online reputations at a workshop hosted by Travel Manitoba on February 21.
