Day 1

Guided walking tour of Winnipeg's French Quarter, St. Boniface to learn about the area's storied history. On the grounds of the St. Boniface Cathedral, watch a performance by Theatre in the Cemetery. Visit to Le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum. Lunch on site at Lower Fort Garry.

Day 2

Visit the St. Norbert Farmers' Market, followed by the St. Norbert Arts Centre home to the ruins of a Trappist monastery. Lunch at Buffalo Stone Café, located at FortWhyte Alive, an urban nature oasis. Paddle a voyageur canoe and view the bison herd.

Day 3

Morning visit to the Western Canada Aviation Museum. Picnic lunch at Assiniboine Park. Visit the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, then the Journey to Churchill exhibit - home to the polar bears - at the Assiniboine Park Zoo.
