Mother's & Cubs Safari

Your exclusive wildlife adventure with Canadian polar bears will take place on the coast of Hudson Bay, within the Cape Tatnam Wildlife Management Area. There is an overwhelming abundance of wildlife to photograph and enjoy, including migratory birds, geese and other four-legged friends such as wolves and moose and of course polar bears! This past season guests saw black bears, wolves, moose and polar bears all during their adventure at the Nanuk!

Manitoba Conservation officials recently discovered a large number of denning female polar bears in the area, equal to or maybe surpassing Wapusk National Park! Photo opportunities present themselves while out on hikes so keep your camera ready to go. Other times you will often see the wildlife from inside the 8-foot buffalo-fence compound where the Lodge sits. With bears coming right up to the fence, you are as close as three feet away. You get the feeling that you are the zoo attraction and they are the spectator. Come and join us on what is sure to be an adventure to remember.
