Start the summer on a high note. At the Winnipeg Folk Festival discover the down-to-earth prairie sensibility and jam with hot indie acts and old folk favourites from all over the globe. A highlight will be watching KD Lang perform on Friday night’s main stage. After your glorious day in the sun, prepare yourself for a northern expedition with Frontiers North Adventures. Arrive in Churchill for a sing-along experience, the highlight being snorkelling and kayaking with a chorus of thousands of beluga whales. In addition to these chirping sea canaries, other musical moments include serenading sled dogs and a local minstrel.
