Arctic Adaptations: Nunavut at 15 offers visitors a unique look at the relationship between architecture, land, climate, and culture. The project was first presented as Canada's official exhibition at the prestigious 2014 Venice Biennale in Architecture, where it was honoured with a Special Mention. Arctic Adaptations features interactive architecture models, photography, and topographical maps of the 25 communities of Nunavut, and specially commissioned work by Inuit carvers who have created masterful scale models of some of the best-known buildings in the territory.
