Dalnavert Museum (PHS)
Built in 1895 for Sir Hugh John Macdonald (former Premier of Manitoba), this beautifully restored home is one of Western Canada's finest examples of Queen Anne Revival Architecture. It is a designated Provincial and National Historic Site. The new Visitors' Centre features a well-appointed gift shop, auditorium space for meetings and events and free parking. The Museum is open Wednesday to Sunday year-round, hours change seasonally. Interpretive tours provided daily. Group tours should be booked at least one week in advance.
