Assiniboine Park Zoo;Home to nearly 200 species and more than 2,000 furry, feathered and downright fabulous animals, the Assiniboine Park Zoo is a great place for exploration and family fun. With indoor and outdoor exhibits, the Zoo specializes in hardy, cold-climate species from northern latitudes and mountain ranges, such as caribou, lynx, musk ox, and bison. A range of exotic animals is also featured throughout the Zoo such as meerkats, geckos, fruit bats, camels, piranhas, flamingos, snow leopards, tigers and more! The Zoo Gift Shop is located at the Zoo's Group Entrance inside Assiniboine Park and offers a vast and diverse selection of products - from toys to treats an treasures - that make great souvenirs or gifts.
