Narcisse Wildlife Management Area
Narcisse Wildlife Management Area
This is the setting where tens of thousands of red-sided garter snakes emerge from the limestone sinkholes and tangle in a mating ritual during the first two weeks in May. They return to their dens in early September remaining active and visible until cool weather forces them underground. Location: PTH 17, 6 km/4 mi. north of Narcisse.
