Wasyl Negrych Pioneer Homestead, one of the most impressive folk sites in North America, contains the oldest known Ukrainian-style house in Manitoba and the most complete set of period farmyard buildings in the province. This is a historical site recognized by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada. Admission charged. Open daily July and August, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tel. 204-548-2326. Location: 17 km/10 mi. north of Gilbert Plains, then turn east on Negrych Road. (PHS)
