La Rivière
The Archibald Historical Museum includes a furnished log house (1878) where Nellie McClung boarded as a teacher. A large frame house owned by Nellie McClung is furnished with pieces from the early 1900s. Her first two books were written and her first child born here. The former La Rivière CPR Station, with its distinctive mansard roof design, is the only existing example in Manitoba. A three-storey barn has an old country store, household effects, tools, buggies. Open daily mid-May to Labour Day weekend, noon - 8 p.m. Closed Wednesday and Thursday, except by appointment. Admission charged. Tel. 204-242-2825/242-2554. The world’s longest hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling trail, at over 18,000 km, spans all provinces and territories. In Manitoba, the 1,300 km trail extends from the Ontario border through Whiteshell Provincial Park and Grand Beach to Winnipeg, south through St. Malo to Emerson and westward through Spruce Woods Provincial Park, Neepawa to Russell, Roblin and the Saskatchewan border. Features year-round recreational activities, historical sites and communities. Many parts are still under construction. Watson Crossley Community Museum

Watson Crossley Community Museum includes a large collection of early settlement artifacts of different nationalities, a log homesteader's cabin, a stone and arrowhead collection, an antique car collection, a large variety of antique tractors and agricultural machinery, restored and furnished pioneer home, one room school house, a Ukrainian Orthodox church, a Phoenix steam hauler, a classic snowmobile exhibit, the Burrows Mill Provincial Heritage Site and the starting point for the Historic and Scenic Tour in the RM of Grandview. The museum is open June 20 to September 1, 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily, other times by appointment. Admission is charged. Golf cart transportation on the museum grounds is available for the handicapped and seniors.

Court House

The Court House was designed by J.H. Bossons, a local architect, and opened in 1917. The building, adorned with stately neo-classical detailing, is set on spacious grounds and is a visual tour de force at the end of Main Street.

Seven Oaks House Museum
The museum is one of the oldest surviving residences in Manitoba and one of a handful of log buildings remaining depicting life on the Red River. Built between 1851 and 1853 by John Inkster, it is furnished with Inkster Family belongings, period pieces, clothing from the era and a general store. A shelter houses a sleigh and a Red River Cart. The Crystal City Community Printing Museum houses western Canada's largest collection of century-old printing machinery still in perfect operating condition. Printing of the local paper began in 1881 until 1952. The shop also housed a small job printing business in the original building using letter press machinery. The print shop is a designated provincial heritage site marked with a Manitoba Heritage Council plaque. Open year-round, Monday to Friday by appointment. Admission charged.
