Flin Flon Station Museum
Flin Flon Station Museum contains artifacts collected from mining, transportation and Flin Flon Station Museum cultural sources, including a diving suit and helmet, a Linn tractor used in early freight hauls, a train sweeper and ore car. Former Portage la Prairie Indian Residential School (PHS)
Built in 1916, the Former Portage la Prairie Indian Residential School is the oldest existing example in Manitoba of a system of boarding schools for Aboriginal children which was created across Canada between 1883-1960. Fort Dauphin Museum Inc.
Fort Dauphin Museum Inc., surrounded by a wooden palisade, is suggestive of an 18th century fur trade post and features archaeological, fur trade and pioneer artifacts. A trapper's cabin, a trading post, a blacksmith's shop, a pioneer log house, a schoolhouse, a church, and the main log building are located inside palisade walls. The Parkland Archaeological Laboratory houses over 80,000 artifacts. The Museum hosts the Fur Traders Rendezvous in September. Fort Dufferin
The site of Fort Dufferin was used as a staging point by the British contingent of the International Boundary Commission, the North West Mounted Police and immigrant settlers who arrived by steamboat. A self-guided interpretive trail and two Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaques commemorate the site.

Fort la Reine Museum, Pioneer Village and Tourist Bureau depicts early Prairie life in Manitoba. The Grund Frelsis Liberty Church, established in 1889, is the oldest Icelandic Lutheran Church in Canada. It is representative of late nineteenth century Gothic Revival church architecture in rural Manitoba - a wood frame on a simple rectangular plan. It is also used for special services. The Gladstone District Museum consists of the old CNR station, a caboose and the original signal Mac's shack and artifacts. The 100-year old Boyd house is refurbished with artifacts of that era. Golden Boy
The Golden Boy was sculpted in Paris in 1918 and is a 5.25 m/17.2 ft., 1,650 kg/3,640 pound statue sheathed in 24 karat gold which stands atop the dome of the Legislative Building. It faces the north where his province's future lies. The torch in his right hand points to economic development; the sheaf of wheat in his left arm represents agriculture.
Government House
Government House is the official private residence of the Lieutenant-Governor of Manitoba. It was built in 1883 by the Dominion Government and transferred to Manitoba's jurisdiction in 1885 symbolizing the completion of Manitoba's parliamentary political structure. Tour this working replica of the flour mill (1829) operated by Cuthbert Grant. A cairn commemorates the Mennonite pioneers, who in 1875 crossed the Red River at Emerson and followed the Post Road westward into the treeless plains shunned by earlier immigrants. The peace bell, a 115-year-old school bell, was installed in a peace tower in Centennial Park in 1967. Location: north of Gretna on PTH 30.
Grey Nuns Walkway
Grey Nuns Walkway extends from the Promenade Taché to the Norwood Bridge. A series of plaques recount the history of the Grey Nuns, who arrived in 1844 and founded the St. Boniface General Hospital.
