Cooks Creek Heritage Museum
Cooks Creek Heritage Museum is situated in the oldest Galician settlement in western Canada. The seven buildings include a restored barn and blacksmith shop, pioneer homes, candle house and chapel. Court House
The Court House was designed by J.H. Bossons, a local architect, and opened in 1917. The building, adorned with stately neo-classical detailing, is set on spacious grounds and is a visual tour de force at the end of Main Street.
Crystal City Community Printing Museum

The Crystal City Community Printing Museum houses western Canada's largest collection of century-old printing machinery still in perfect operating condition. Printing of the local paper began in 1881 until 1952. The shop also housed a small job printing business in the original building using letter press machinery. The print shop is a designated provincial heritage site marked with a Manitoba Heritage Council plaque. Open year-round, Monday to Friday by appointment. Admission charged. Daly House Museum exhibits an upper middle-class home circa 1880-90, the Mutter Bros. grocery store, Rotating Exhibit Hall and the Magnacca Research Centre. Open year-round. Darlingford Memorial and Park (PHS)

A large boulder marks the overland route taken by Pierre Gaultier de Varennes, sieur de la Vérendrye and his party in search of the western sea. The trail was also followed by fur traders and settlers.

Emerson
Emerson
The town is named after poet Ralph Waldo Emerson. The Tourist Information Centre houses displays interpreting The Boundary Commission Trail, the North West Mounted Police, the arrival of the first Mennonite settlers and a Trans-Canada kiosk. A larger-than-life statue of a North West Mounted Police officer commemorates the founding of the NWMP in 1873. Location: PTH 75 at the U.S. border.
Emerson Court House and Town Hall (PHS)
The Emerson Court House and Town Hall, built in 1917-1918, is a splendid example of a small neo-classical style municipal hall. Eskimo Museum has a collection of Inuit carvings and artifacts that are among the finest and oldest in the world dating from Pre-Dorset (1700 B.C.) through Dorset, Thule and modern Inuit times. Manitoba Heritage Council plaques commemorate the presence of Pre-Dorset and Dorset peoples who lived in this area from 3000 to 1000 B.C. The gift shop specializes in northern books, Canadian Inuit art, unique postcards, art cards, stationery and local wildberry preserves. Fairbanks House, still a family home, was built in 1882 of local fieldstone. The Anglican Church was built in 1876 (corner of Church and 1st Street); while the bell of St. Andrews United Church originally hung in Grace Church in Winnipeg, where it welcomed Colonel Garnet Wolseley's force to the Red River Settlement in 1870.

This two-and-a-half storey firehall built in 1904 has an 1882 Ronald Steamer, 1928 LaFrance, 1930 LaFrance, 1936 Diamond T hose wagon, 1958 Mack, 1966 Mack, 1870 hand-drawn hose reel, 1880 hand-drawn chemical reel and 1900 horse-drawn hose wagon on display.
