Churchill Wild! Specializing in authentic, ultra remote wilderness eco-lodge adventures and offering incredible polar bear viewing encounters in exclusive settings. We take you on the ground, up close and personal, with the wildlife of the Arctic including the great white polar bears.
Our polar bear eco-lodges are the only fly-in polar bear viewing lodges on the planet and have been strategically located along the shores of the Hudson Bay to maximize ground level encounters of the close kind with the “Great Ice Bears”. Accommodating up to 16 guests at a time, we promise no crowds and no lineups but plenty of wilderness action.
Our private air charters take you on an adventure filled flight out of Churchill and into some of the last truly pristine wild areas of the Arctic & Subarctic Canada. Our 30 years plus of experience in high end wilderness lodge operations complemented by our remote exclusive destinations ensure that your polar bear adventure with us will be second to none. With two seasons to choose from, summer or fall, on any given day you might see up to a dozen bears near our Lodge, with an exceptional day of 21 different polar bears, including 3 sets of mothers and cubs! Then of course, in the summer, there are the gregarious beluga whales to swim with, endless birdlife, caribou, wolves, and northern lights. No boredom here, we guarantee it. The impressive bear viewing in fall is often further enhanced with fortuitous opportunities to observe the vast barren land caribou herds on their southern migration, plenty of Arctic foxes, and the breathtaking Aurora Borealis.
Guests will enjoy our wilderness lodges as they have all the modern amenities of home. We have cozy common areas with a fireplace, electricity 24 hours per day, natural gas and wood heat, private double occupancy rooms with en-suite/private bathroom, viewing towers and full service gourmet meals. Additionally, the popular “going green” concept has been a family tradition since our Lodges inception and includes solar and wind generated power, recycling, composting, grey water recovery systems, and minimal use of motorized vehicles to name a few.
This land is our home; our family has over hundred years of history on the coast. We care deeply about the people, the flora and the fauna that makes the Hudson Bay such a special place. We would welcome the opportunity to share it with you.
